By using SwiftConvert (the "Service") you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

SwiftConvert is a free online tool that converts PDF, Word, Excel and image files between supported formats. Image conversion and image compression run in your browser; document conversion runs through a third-party processor (CloudConvert) on our behalf.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to convert or upload files that:

  • Contain malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
  • Infringe on a third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Are illegal to possess, transmit, or process under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • Are intended to circumvent rate limits, abuse the conversion provider, or disrupt the Service for others.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. While we use industry-standard conversion engines, we cannot guarantee that the output will be a perfect representation of the input — particularly for complex layouts, custom fonts, or non-standard formatting. Always keep your original file.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftConvert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the files you upload and the converted files we return. The Service itself — its design, code, copy and trademarks — is owned by SwiftConvert and may not be copied or resold.

6. Service changes

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or due to third-party provider outages. Where reasonable we will post a notice on the home page.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to block any user who violates these terms. Because there is no signup, blocking is based on IP address and may affect shared networks.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SwiftConvert operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
